WHO DO WE WORK WITH?
City to City UK is an intentionally generous network which seeks to work with churches and church leaders from a broad range of denominations in order to see our cities reached with the good news of Jesus Christ. Within City to City UK there exists a variety of views on baptism, church governance, the doctrines of grace and charismatic gifts.
HOW DO WE WORK?
City to City UK is not an alternative network or denomination. Indeed, we expect most City to City UK churches to be actively involved in other ‘tighter’ networks. City to City UK might therefore be better considered as a network of networks that come together around a common theological vision of gospel, city, and movements.
WHO CAN BELONG?
Whilst wanting to be generous, there is, however, a need to have a common core of theological commitments. To see gospel-centred, contextualised churches planted in urban centres we must remain faithful to the core doctrines of the gospel and retain the integrity of our theological vision. We therefore ask the leaders of all City to City UK affiliated churches to affirm their agreement with our Statement of Faith, Theological Vision document and Ethical Code of Conduct.
